We have worked with our school council to devise a range of incentives to encourage good attendance -

• Daily - each day a ‘letter’ will be awarded to classes with all pupils in school. When they have received enough letters to spell out ‘Queen Mary Heroes’ the class will be awarded a special celebration such as a pizza, party, ice-creams, bingo, disco etc
• Weekly - all children with 100% attendance and no lates will be awarded a counter for the class attendance box. Classes with 100% attendance will also receive a silver counter.  
• Half-termly medals will be awarded to all pupils with more than 96% attendance.
• Annually – the class with the highest number of tokens at the end of the school year will be awarded a class trip/in school experience.
• Individual prizes will also be awarded to pupils with 100% attendance for a full academic year.
