Within Continuous Provision children have access to specific creative areas where a variety of equipment and materials are provided for children to actively engage with and explore.
own works of art, craft Activities provided in these areas are planned by Teaching Staff to encourage children to gain mastery of specific skills and techniques or to develop creative and imaginative thinking through enabling children to produce their and design.
Adults present within the environment actively encourage children to talk about their work and model the necessary language, skills and techniques which are vital aspects of the Art and Design curriculum as children progress towards Key Stage One.
