Terms of Reference:

Finance: Executive powers to deal with budgetary issues as specified in the Management of the School Budget.

Personnel: Executive powers to deal with the appointment of staff, discipline (including dismissal of staff), grievances, collective disputes, pay/grading issues.

Health & Safety: Executive powers to deal with matters pertaining to health and safety and safeguarding.

 

Curriculum, Standards and Monitoring Committee (Quorum 3)

            Terms of Reference:

            Executive powers to challenge and monitor the school around achievement, standards, quality of teaching and curriculum.

 

Appeals Committee (Quorum 3)

 

            Any 3 Governors with no prior knowledge of the case.

 

            Terms of reference: Executive powers to her appeals including appeals in relation to decisions taken by the Resources

            Committee.

 

Complaints Committee (Quorum 3)

 

Any three Governors (except staff) with no prior knowledge of the case.

 

            Terms of reference: Executive powers to deal with parental complaints including the response to the parent.

 

Pupil Discipline Committee (Quorum 3)

 

            Any three Governors (except staff) with no prior knowledge of the case.

           

            Terms of reference: Executive powers to review the use of exclusion within the school, including consideration of the views of

            the parent of an excluded pupil, and deciding whether or not to confirm exclusions of more than fifteen school days.
